In our dictionary, the word foundation (vakf) meaning “to stop; to detain“ also means “foundation/structure“ in English and “gift/donation“ in German. Although the meanings in the languages are different, the term can be summarized as “the legal entity in which the material savings that individuals or institutions donate/donate to be used in a certain subject/field are operated in accordance with the legal basis”.
Anatolian lands have hosted many civilizations that widely used the foundation culture in history. In the Republic of Türkiye, foundations and associations still support the state in many issues, strengthen social cohesion and play a role in creating a peaceful environment by supporting aid and solidarity among the people. Our founder Mehmet Koç and his wife have worked in various foundations and associations for years, some of them volunteers and some of them as founders.

NEGVA found by Songül and Mehmet Koç in 2021; was established with the aim of making all kinds of contributions and support to the development of individuals in the fields of education, culture, art, literature, informatics-communication and entrepreneurship. NEGVA, which started its activities by providing educational support to the children of Negmar employees who are undergraduate, graduate or doctoral, will continue to expand its activities in the coming days.
