2008 witnessed the birth of Negmar by bringing together 2 large international companies with a 3rd Entrepreneur mind and will. The 2000s mark a period in which Turkey’s claim to be an effective commercial power and decisive economic actor in the region, together with its own civilization center and surrounding elements, began to come to life. In these years, Turkey’s entrepreneurial energy Nesma, one of the top 100 global companies in Saudi Arabia, and Turkey’s largest agricultural sector player Gübretaş, under the management of Entrepreneur Mehmet KOÇ, Etis Denizcilik A.Ş. witnessed his coming together with his orchestra. In 2008, Negmar was born with the claim to the Power of Enterprise.
Nesma’s N, Etis’s E, Gübretaş’s G letters combined with the first three letters of the English word Marine to form the name of NEGMAR. Strong and confident with the blue of the sea and the red of the Turkish flag, the company reflected the past experiences of its founders on its logo; international, enterprising and committed to values.
After 2018, Negmar continued to grow after his entrepreneur continued on his own.

2006 – Istanbullines started Ro-Ro transportation between Ambarlı and Bandırma.

2007 – Etis Logistics Inc. was established for road transport.

2008 – Negmar Group was established with the cooperation of Nesma, Gübretaş and Etis Investment. In the same year, Istanbullines joined Negmar.

2009 – Etis Logistics Inc. a growing brand in land logistics, joined the Negmar Group.

2009- 2011 – The Negmar fleet has grown. The ships Yunus N, Barbaros G, Reis G, Hızır G and Oruç G joined the group.

2012 – Etis Logistics Inc. added 50 new trucks to its fleet.

2013 – Negmar started passenger transportation on an important line that relieves the Marmara region traffic. Istanbullines entered service with 3 RoPax ferries between Eskihisar and Tavşanlı.

2013 – A big step was taken in the LPG field. Two 38,000 CBM LPG vessels ordered to Korean Hyundai Motors were launched.

2014 – Ship diversity increased with the addition of the Erdeniz train ferry to the fleet.

2015 – The fourth RoPax ferry joined the Istanbullines Eskihisar – Tavşanlı line.

2016 – The RoPax Ferry named Mecidiye was purchased.

2018 – Negmar Group shares were shared between Gübretaş, Nesma and Etis. Eskihisar – Tavşanlı line, Etis Logistics, Bisar Software, Trenferry, Gök Shipment Inc. continued their activities under the leadership of Mehmet Koç within the body of Negmar Group.

2018 – The name of Eskihisar – Tavşanlı line was changed from “Istanbullines” to “Negmar” and continued to be managed by Narlı Ferry Management under the Negmar Group.

2019 – Aziziye RoPax ferry joins Narlı Ferry Management’s fleet.

2020 – First steps were taken for the Group’s African investments. Negotiations have started for the ferry line planned to be built between Banjul and Barra in Gambia.

2021 – Its experience in LPG has been instrumental in Negmar’s investment in new technologies. Negmar BLMK LPG vessel was ordered to Korea. Negmar BLMK is planned as dual fuel.

2021 – NEGVA “Negmar Entrepreneurship Support Foundation” established.

2022 – “Negmar Min” joins the LPG fleet.

2022 – Negmar has taken its shipownership to the next level by acquiring SMS Shipyard in Tavşanlı Yalova.

2022 – The group moved its corporate headquarters to Altunizade, an important center of Istanbul.

2022 – The variety of ships has been increased by adding the RO-RO ship TAG to the fleet.
