Murat SARIBAŞ completed his academic education with a Master’s degree from Institute of Banking and Insurance of Marmara University. He holds CMB Level 3, Derivative Instruments, Corporate Rating, and Corporate Governance licenses.
Embarking on his professional journey in 2005 at Deniz Financial Services Inc., Murat SARIBAŞ has amassed 18 years of experience in the financial markets. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in Project Management, Internal Control and Compliance, Inspection Committee, and Risk Management Departments at Deniz Bank Inc., Anadolu Bank Inc., Turkland Bank Inc., and Golden Global Investment Bank Inc. In addition to these roles, he also undertook the role of “Market Abuse and Fraud Officer” appointed by the Bank’s Board of Directors to oversee TurklandBank Inc.’s capital market transactions in accordance with the CMB regulation.
Amongst the evolving economic conditions and competitive market landscape, there arose a necessity for our company to enhance organizational development and structural effectiveness. To achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness, a decision was made to restructure the company’s organization. As of January 14, 2022, Negmar Group established the Audit Group Presidency unit, with Murat SARIBAŞ appointed to this role. Representing our Board of Directors, Murat SARIBAŞ will contribute to the establishment of the corporate governance framework and assist in achieving our goals in risk management, audit, control, and governance processes. Murat SARIBAŞ, who will help us greatly to achieve our goals, is married and a father of two.
